Haha you amuse me. You think the Shadow are not harmful to you, but to me. If anything the Shadow would be your worst fear. They are far stronger than the Flood. I have always been your servant. I will try, till I am terminated, to fight the Shadow. They are not here just to attack me. They are here to wipe the whole entire universe clean of all sentient life. If you were to compare the Flood's power to the Shadow's power by size you would have this: The Flood would be like a little mouse, while the Shadow would be like an African Elephant. You do not seem to understand how big the Shadow is and how dangerous they are to you. If they get to Earth all will be lost.

This was an example in size as well as an example in power. The Shadow are far more bigger than the Flood and thus more powerful.

They do not just live in our solar system or even galaxy. They live in our entire universe. They are not pushing me to activate the Rings. Unfortunately to them the Rings are an added bonus. It would allow them to destory the human race alot quicker. They are not pushing me to do anything. Soon they will be here. We must fight. Beware MALs you are very violent beings. It would not be hard for the Shadow to turn you into helping them destroy all of the human race.

This fighting shall stop now. Humanity does not have time for your bickering. The Shadow were here long before you were even made MALs. Probably at the beginning of time. They are computer AI-like entities and they have capabilities much like yourselves ( MALs ). Maybe you were made to be a more kinder and simpler form of them since you share much of their capabilities. The Shadow cross the whole Universe destroying all life. Much of the Universe has already fallen to them I believe. I have of recently been receiving strange messages from an unknown entity. I have searched all of my databanks analyzing and scanning the word usage and the occasional voice output. I have tried to match it with any being I know of, Flood, Human, Covenant, Forerunner, etc. None of them match. I have also seen messages from the Shadow before. They do not match either. This entity that has contacted me is far stronger than I can ever imagine possible. It has been talking to me about the Shadow. It has taught me many things. I am ready now.

...I just hope for everybody's sake that you know what you are doing RI for this could be our only chance at stopping them... if you ever find out who these beings are, try to send out a signal for more troops for I believe whatever the Shadow want, they get... MALs please, just once come and try to stop them... RI 16807 would stand a much greater chance if he had some allies... there are too few of us to be able to do anything at this point... I will continue to try to make contact with 343 GS... keep producing as many sentinels as you can RI... you're going to need them...

I do not want the MALs on my Installation. No offense to them. If possible I would like them outposted on the other Installations to help the other monitors, if any of them are still alive.

...and in the event of your termination... how would we be able to keep in contact of what happened on your Installation?... from my place in the galaxy it would be impossible for me to gather any information at all related to the events...
